Kakegawa Kachoen

A theme park where you can enjoy wonderful interaction with flowers and birds

This is an all-weather theme park where you can play with birds in a vast 9,000 square meter greenhouse where beautiful flowers bloom.

Visitors can not only see birds in cages as in a regular zoo, but also interact directly with parakeets, owls, penguins, and other birds flying around freely in the greenhouse.

In addition, the greenhouse is surrounded by tropical plants such as water lilies, giant lobsters, and Brugmansia, which are surrounded by delightful sights and smells.

The expansive grounds also include a water lily pool, a pond, and a pasture.

There are also daily bird shows (free admission), bird feeding (for a fee), owl on your arm (for a fee), penguin on your lap (for a fee), and many other events.

The park is all-weather and barrier-free, even on rainy days, and staff are always available in each area.

Enter the world where birds live, touch them, give them a ride, and enjoy the experience of petting them.

Outside the Nagayamon gate, food for feeding is available for sale and can be freely given to the birds.
