Within the park is a thatched-roof house built in 1723. This building was moved from a farmhouse in Gotemba City and serves as the main house.
From its windows, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of Mt.
Fuji, Hakone, and Mt. Aitaka, where Chichibunomiya made pottery.
The park was once used as a villa for the Minister of Finance, then became the Gotemba villa of the imperial family, and is now maintained by Gotemba City.
The park is a wonderful memorial park where visitors can enjoy a variety of flowers throughout the year.
