Fujikawa Rakuza

Fujikawa Rakuza is an open highway oasis accessible from both the Tomei Expressway (uphill) and prefectural roads.

Fuji, a restaurant/cafe with a view of Mt. Fuji, and a souvenir shop selling local specialties.

Fuji River, the view from the observation lounge is spectacular, from the foot of Fuji to Suruga Bay and the Izu Peninsula.

Fuji. Fuji Sky View, a large Ferris wheel, also offers a wonderful view from 60 meters above the ground, from which you can see from Mount Fuji to Suruga Bay. Visitors can also enjoy fantastic illumination at sunset.

The name of Michi-no-Eki Fujikawa Rakuza comes from the words “Rakuichi, Rakuza. It has been introduced on TV as the roadside station that attracts the largest number of visitors in Japan.

Observation Lounge (8:00 - 21:00): On a clear day, you can enjoy a panoramic view from Mt. Sofas and massage machines are available. On New Year’s Day, you can watch the first sunrise of the year.
Panorama Restaurant Suruga-ji (10:00 - 20:00): You can enjoy “Sakuraebi Kakiage-don” (bowl of rice topped with fried sakuraebi) and other dishes using sakuraebi, a specialty of the Yui Fishing Port.
Wai Wai Theater (10:00 - 16:00): A 14-meter-diameter dome theater with a permanent installation of the planetarium Mega Star IIB. Admission is 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children.
Cafe Fujiyama no Megumi (10:00 - 17:00): Located in the observation lounge, visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the view.
Fujiyama no Megumi Honpo (9:00 - 17:00): A souvenir store selling specialties of Shizuoka Prefecture.
Fujiyama Gallery (9:30 - 17:00): A gallery space that holds photo exhibitions and special exhibitions of Mt.

There is an entrance from the north parking lot on the public street.
Experience Center Dombura (10:00 - 16:00): An amusement facility where visitors can enjoy stamp rallies, experiments and craft workshops. Fees are 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children.
Yoji Totsuka Neutrino Museum (10:00 - 16:00): This facility introduces Dr. Yoji Totsuka’s contributions to neutrino physics, and admission is free.
Free Space/Seminar Room: Available for seminars and events.
