Atami Marine Fireworks Festival

The Atami Fireworks Festival is held at the Atami Hot Springs Resort more than 10 times a year (about 15 times) in spring, summer, fall, and winter.

The venue, Atami Bay, has a mortar-shaped topography surrounded by mountains on three sides, making it a natural stadium, and the unique sound effects that take advantage of the topography are overwhelmingly powerful.

A wide variety of fireworks will be launched, including powerful fireworks like a Niagara and fireworks in the shape of beautiful flowers.

These various fireworks, combined with the acoustics that take advantage of the topography of Atami Bay, create a powerful show.

Viewing Points

Thanks to the topography of Atami Bay, the fireworks can be enjoyed from anywhere.

Recommended viewing points are the Atami Sun Beach, Nagisui Park, Nagisaki Ko Koen Park, and the Nagisaki Town area.

On the day of the fireworks display, many food stalls will be set up and spectator seats will be available. Traffic regulations will be enforced and the area will be a pedestrian paradise.

Traditional Events

The fireworks display is one of the traditional events that have been held since 1952 to pray for Atami’s recovery from the disaster.

In addition to the traditional fixed date of August 5, there are a total of more than 10 events held from spring to winter.

鑑賞ポイント

花火が打ち上がる場所が湾の中央にあり、熱海湾の地形のおかげで、どこからでも花火とその大音響を楽しむことができます。

特におすすめの鑑賞するポイントは、熱海サンビーチや親水公園・渚小公園、そして渚町一帯です。

花火大会当日は屋台も多く出店され、観覧席も用意されています。交通規制も行われ、歩行者天国となります。

伝統行事

花火大会は、熱海の災害復興を祈念して1952年に始まり、開催される伝統行事のひとつです。

伝統的な8月5日の固定日だけでなく、春季から冬季までの合計10回以上の開催があります。
