The ocean and swimming pools are the most popular summertime pastimes, but if you are looking for something a little more active, the Taju Sand Ski Resort is the place for you.
These sand dunes, formed by seasonal winds on the precipitous cliffs, are natural sand slopes with an angle of about 30 degrees, 45 meters in length, and 100 meters in width.
Visitors can ski on sleds or boards and experience the thrill of sliding down the steep slopes.
The view over the ocean from the top of the sand is spectacular, and sliding down the steep slope all at once is a thrilling experience, as if you were diving into the ocean.
However, since sleds made of cardboard are not suitable for sand skiing because they get buried in the sand, you can rent a sled (for a fee) from a nearby store.
On the way to the sand ski area, you can see about 300 native sand lily plants, as well as water-cooled fractured lava and rock veins.
In addition, the Ryugugu Cave, a cave where rare natural phenomena can be viewed, is also located nearby, making it a great place for sightseeing. Taegu Coast is a wonderful place filled with the mysteries of nature.
