Approximately 1,500 varieties of cacti and succulents from around the world grow in this theme park where animals and plants coexist.
Animals such as squirrel monkeys and peacocks are free-range, and animals and birds such as kangaroos and wild birds are also kept here.
At Animal Boat Tours, visitors can take a boat ride around the islands where the animals live, and enjoy animal guided tours and feeding experiences.
In winter, the capybara breeding house is filled with hot spring water, and the capybaras take a bath in the open-air bath, an event that is popular among tourists.
In addition, many sculpture replicas of ancient ruins are placed in the Ancient Ruins Rock Garden area.
The park has restaurants, stores, accommodations, and five cactus greenhouses.
The cactus greenhouses are divided into the South America Pavilion, Africa Pavilion, Madagascar Pavilion, Mexico Pavilion, and Forest Cactus Pavilion (jungle cactus), and are home to 1,500 species of cactus and succulent plants from around the world.
Of particular note is the “Kinshachi,” the 170-year-old king of cacti.
At the “Shaboten Workshop,” the only cactus-picking experience of its kind in the world, visitors can make their own original cactus plants. Eating cactus in the park
